Is Tunaweza Foundation a government-funded organisation?

No, Tunaweza Foundation is a privately funded organisation. Funds are generated through donations and grants. Although, Tunaweza works hand in hand with government organisations in the disability inclusion space.

How is Tunaweza improving the disability space in its area of operation?

Tunaweza's main area of focus is instigating positive mindset change towards people living with disabilities, through advocacy using activities like inclusion and diversity campaigns, disability awareness training, financial literacy programmes as well as inclusive education and health campaigns for the people living with disabilities.

Are people living with disabilities able to support themselves financially?

Yes, people living with disabilities are able to support themselves financially. This is one of the mindsets we aim to debunk from our beneficiaries through our economic empowerment programmes.
